Canadians for Tsunami Relief: Media Update

Canadians for Tsunami Relief: Media Update..... as of this afternoon.

New Involvement of Fairchild Media Group & CHIN International,
Rogers Media Network’s $150,000 Kickoff Donation

Canadians for Tsunami Relief welcomes Fairchild Media Group to join our team to help out with our promotional efforts.

Fairchild Television and Talentvision will be running Cantonese and Mandarin promotional spots throughout the day on Sunday, January 9, 2005, to help promote the fundraising efforts and the different methods of donation.

CHIN International is also joining C.T.R. by promoting the initiative using 45-second PSA spots through all of its multicultural outlets on January 8 and 9, 2005.

The endorsement of these new media members greatly add to our promotional strength after yesterday’s announcement on the involvement of Rogers Media Network.

To kick off the campaign through all its media outlets, Rogers Media Network is setting an example by donating $150,000 to Canadians for Tsunami Relief.

200 multilingual phone lines will be open throughout the weekend and hundreds of volunteers of different backgrounds will be involved in call taking as well as mall donation solicitation.
